MAC Volleyball set to host JSW Academy
MAC Volleyball is thrilled to welcome JSW Academy from Poland for an exciting two-week competition tour from October 6 to October 19, 2025!
MAC ACADEMY (SMASHBALL)
MAC Volleyball is excited to announce that Smashball is back!
Smashball is an exciting 12 week program that will run from October - March for boys in grades 3-6. It will be coached by LP Mainville, an expert in youth athlete development. Space is limited!
TIME: Mondays, 6–8 PM (every two weeks)
DATES: 12 Sessions from October 6th to March 23rd
Oct: 6 & 20
Nov: 3 & 17
Dec: 1 & 15
Jan: 12 & 26
Feb: 9 & 23
Mar: 9 & 23
COST: $250

REQUIREMENTS:
All athletes must complete the MAC Academy (Smashball) Registration Form
Pay a one time fee of $250 to macvolleyballclub@gmail.com
Register as a TRYOUT player with the OVA* Please go to Ontario Volleyball to set up an MRS account and register for FREE as a tryout player (set up the account in the name of the athlete)
Why Smashball?
Smashball is volleyball reimagined for kids!
It’s fast, fun, and focused on the most exciting part of the game: spiking!
Children progress through 5 skill-based levels as they build:
Physical literacy & athletic skills (running, jumping, throwing, etc.)
Strength through fun games & body-weight exercises
Volleyball fundamentals, especially spiking
Teamwork, communication & sportsmanship
Friendships & confidence in competition
Every session includes small-sided games where kids learn by playing!
Our Coaching Philosophy
We create a fun, caring, athlete-centred environment where kids beg to come back each week. Our goal is for every child to love Smashball, improve their skills, and invite their friends to join!
