The Summer Lineup
* JULY 2023 *
Happy Canada Day #MACfamily, we hope everyone had a great finish to the school year and you are all enjoying your summer so far. Here’s an update on what is in store for July and the 2023-34 MAC Season ahead.
* TEAM ONTARIO MONTH *
July is Team Ontario Volleyball Month and MAC athletes are crushing it on the beach so far this season with the largest number of MAC athletes ever, having earned a spot.
* RE-SIGNING WINDOW NOW OPEN *
The re-signing window for MAC Volleyball is July 1st to 31st. During this time we will be offering spots to returning athletes. Individual team coaches will be communicating with returning athletes directly. The re-signing process and offers will begin after Team Ontario commitments and after the open gym sessions.
* JULY OPEN GYM SESSIONS *
Open Gym Sessions are starting. All sessions will be held at HDCH (Hamilton District Christian High School) at 92 Glancaster Rd, Ancaster, ON L9G 3K9. There is no cost to attend but please make sure you have emailed your coach letting them know your availability. If you have not yet registered, you can do so here.
Please pass this on to your OVA friends wanting to play for MAC or for those that are new to volleyball.
Please note: For athletes new to the OVA they will have to register in MRS as a tryout player in order to participate. So coaches, please check with the athletes as they arrive to your open gyms!

We are expecting to run a team at every age group from 12u to 18u. It also seems as though we could have the numbers to run multiple teams at 15, 16 and 17u but will need additional coaches to come forward. If you are interested please do not hesitate to reach out!
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
We are also looking for a number of volunteers for the upcoming season to work on or with the executive and would love to have representation from every team if possible. Please let us know if you are interested.
